A fairytale destination

One of my favourite places I have visited was Prague... I love the medieval atmosphere which creates a fairytale feeling... I like the castles, the architecture, the walks in the picturesque alleys and the green parks.. However another town of the Czech Republic stole my heart from the first moment... Český Krumlov!

Český Krumlov is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The historic center around the Český Krumlov Castle, is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.

Most of the architecture of the old town dates from the 14th through 17th centuries and the town's structures are mostly in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.

The beautiful old town is surrounded by the river Vltava, with the old Latrán neighborhood and castle on the other side of it.

I have been there twice, in spring and in winter... In my opinion spring offers a better experience as everything is more green and beautiful.. It's up to everyone's taste though...

Here are some winter shots to see by yourself...
