Tricky Observation: How To Cut In Traffic?

The road was packed with cars at rush hour, and I was stuck in traffic as per usual.

We have been sitting in the left turning lane for a while now, and suddenly this car who took the right inner lane tries to cut in and right at front of the queue as well. It stopped in the middle on the road and just sat there with its left signal on, blocking all traffic behind it despite the clear signs that his lane could not right left.

The car was clearly trying to cut in line, so all the cars started to hunk at it, telling it to move forward as everyone were already stuck here for at least 30 minutes. So offcourse no one was going to let it cut in line, but despite all the honking, that car just sat there with its left indicators on.

Just as it looked like the traffic was about to move, it suddenly changed its left indicators to the hazard lights (blinking on all indicators), which made the honking stop. We all thought that maybe he is having some sort of car trouble and he needed to get off the road.

So everyone stopped honking and patiently waited as the lane cleared to create a space for the car to merge in, and then as soon as the lane was clear and it successfully merged into lane. ZOOM!!~~~ it turned off its hazard lights and sped of…

All the cars around it knew what had happened, the car pretty much just held up traffic and pushed right into the front of the lane by pretending that it had some car trouble…

Oh Well, there was nothing we could do after it sped off. It's people like that which put others in doubt the next time they see someone in actual trouble.
