A good brain diet

Killing ANTS
ANTs stands for Automatic Negative Thoughts. Self-talk is very important because they are programs that command your brain. Remember, your brain always do what you tell it to do.
If you're saying I am not good enough, tell this to your brain I am not good enough. Eliminate the not's and no's.
Exercise
The primary function of the brain is to move your body. When you move your body, you're also exercising your brain's muscles. What's good for your heart, is usually good for the brain :)
Brain nutrients
Do a simple blood test and find out what nutrients you're lacking. Vitamin C, Vitamin B are good for the brain. Take supplements if you need to.
Positive peer group
Who you spend time with determines the quality of your life. Choose wisely.
A quick tip here, choose those who educates, encourages, supports and will challenge you.
Clean environment
A clean environment promotes are healthy and focused mind.
Sleep
This is the most important! You NEED to sleep. Do you know, when you're sleeping, your brain consolidates short-term memory into long-term?
Brain protection
Be sure to protect your head. Head concussions, head trauma, head injury can seriously damage your brain.
New learning
When you learn new things everyday, you feel younger don't you?
Stress management
Go for massage, yoga, mindfulness training, meditation to relieve stress and have more time for yourself.
Reflect on which of these 10 areas that you've been neglecting in your life. Choose 1 and commit to improve on it.
