Yes! It is that time of the week again to get introspective, cerebral and preachy.
I hang with @wesphilbin all week long but about once in a while I pause to create a blog to discuss positive stuff using #thoughtfuldailypost as a tag. Positivity is best when shared and we often have to be reminded to linger and think good thoughts. Now, we have an all-new vehicle in the form of @thoughtfulposts, to whom I have delegated in order to crank up this party bus!
Here are a few of the pearls of wisdom mined from the mountains of truth and falsehoods known as the internet, with added music for your pleasure!
All She Wants to do is Dance
I enjoyed this one for the contradiction and the assertion that failing leads to success. You kinda develop strength as a symptom of being weak as long as you impose your till. You confront things that you fear and become less afraid if not fearless. Wisdom is a large sum of foolish actions.
Being your typical hoser sports lover, the first thing this reminded me of is the wisdom that a team has to learn to lose together before they learn to win together. Makes losing a little easier to swallow as part of the journey to victory.
If you listen to this song too much, the black spots in prose like this prompts you to wanna sing 'All she wants to do is dance!'
I Can't Quit You
The flow of the penmanship was what initially caught my attention on this one. I am fascinated by addiction as I believe I am unable to truly understand the hopelessly addicted and in denial of my own addictions. I would rather call them obsessions that I can extinguish if it starts costing me things I would not give up otherwise. Comfy place huh?
I could not imagine giving up everything for one thing no matter how much I try. I cannot contemplate the strength it takes to recover from something powerful enough to compel someone that totally. All I know is that we should probably not judge a recovering addict as they are privately fighting battles we couldn't fathom.
Makes you wanna sing the blues so sweet.
Be Kind
I was trying to read the watermark on this one so that I could give due credit and the best I could come up with is https://twitter.com/sayitvalencia?lang=en Such sobering words and I should tag her when I share this post on Twitter for those who should be playing with decentralized social media.
I always enjoyed the notion that if you don't grow up by a certain age, you don't have to. I think everyone could be considered an emotionally wounded child in an adult body seeing as we have all had our trauma. There are probably things about each person I don't know that would change my attitude about them in an instant. I try and imagine what that would be and spend some time finding out what that might be rather than evaluating the sum of those experiences. It is harder to say than to do!
This movement is gaining momentum and now is being curated by @thoughtfulposts to whom I have delegated some #hive @thoughtfulposts/thoughtfulposts-introduction-or-a-thoughtfuldailypost is where you can get the details and please consider delegating to help make positivity extra rewarding.
