The things we do in life is measured by one simple choice we make as an individual either:

🎯To play or,
🎲 Not to play.
According to wikipedia, Choice involves decision making. It can include judging the merits of multiple options and selecting one or more of them. One can make a choice between imagined options ("What would I do if...?") or between real options followed by the corresponding action. Read more
In countless situations, we are faced with the choice of participating or sit and watch on the fence, so before we make such choice we have to deal with excuses why we can't do it or make it.
I like making excuses especially when I just feel like not doing something, not wanting to participate because my lazy mind finds is boring😁😁😁, procrastination is the senior brother to excuses.
Excuses makes the matter more concentrated or severe or makes us shy away from the problems or make people thing we are ill-willed or selfish.
In life there is a big difference between an excuse and an explanation. An excuse is usually offered to seek a way out of a challenge, while an explanation is offered to seek a way into a solution. This shows the difference between excuse and explanation and the end product depends on your motives.
There are four roles we all play from time to time as human:
• Escapist
• Aggravator
• Spectator
• Participator
In the above role you have an opportunity to offer excuses or proffer explanations, and each of the role has a negative and positive angle.
The Escapist completely run away from any situation. The escapist choose not to face his destiny, and passively allows his life to pass by.
The negative escapist withdraws from day to day world and blends in with the countless lonely people who live in the margins of society.
The aggravator is a small thinker who watch and stirs the pot and, more than that, tends to turn up the heat to keep the pot boiling.
The spectator watches from a distance or from the fence as others play their part in the game of life, either the don't show up or ignore the fact that there's a possible game to be played and won.
The Participator plays to win, he is always full of vigour, energetic, willing, able ,ready to win at all time but one danger in being a participator is over participation. Stressed out are terms that comes to the mind!
There are times and season to participate, and times to reduce our involvement and allow creative input.
In summary, the key questions to as if you find yourself in the role of a participator are these; am I participating in something that is helpful or harmful? Am I helping others grow- materially, financially, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually?.
