Located in the northern province Central Cup, Morocco is home to Mt. National Park of Tazzeka, the medieval town of Cup and the largest network of underground caves in North Africa, the caves of Fox.
Cup, the provincial capital, it is a journey of two hours from the FES by road or train. Although it is not one of the best known in all Morocco tourist destinations, Cup is an interesting place for a day or a weekend trip. A quick trip is also feasible in Meknes or Nador, the two cities are two and half an hour of Cup route. There is no public transport regular City National Park or the caves, but you can rent a large taxi or minibus to explore the area.
Most of the tourists who find themselves in the Cup come to check out the caves of Fox, known locally under the name in French: Friouato chasm. First explored in 1930 by the adventurer French Pat Casteret, the cave system is more than 150 feet deep and extends at least 3.8 kilometers (2.4 miles) under the surface of the Earth.
Open to the public every day from 07:00 to 20:00, the caves are accessible by amateurs as well more experienced cavers. If you have only a little time, you can pay the admission price to descend a staircase in the cave main stalagmites and stalactites of centuries old.

We must not wait for well-lit tunnels or guide ropes; most of the time that your only light will be your projector and rock floor slippery. It is best to begin a journey of Cup in the caves in the morning, you will have to apply for a taxi or a van to transport there and wait or go back and pick it up after the visit.
Once in the Cup, you can spend the afternoon looking for fortifications and medieval buildings in the city. Between Middle mountain ranges, the Rif and the Atlas Cup served as a fortress which has neglected the important Tizi n' Touahar pass. You can see the old medina with its ramparts of the city and a bastion of the 16th century under the Saadians. Other architectural monuments of the old town are the great mosque, begun under the reign of the Almohads in the 12th century and the mosque of Andalus.
