Hello Steemians, Hello Hong Kong!!

If you have been following my Steemit, you will know I really like Hong Kong style cafe/tea restaurant. Today I would like to share another great one which I have seldom chance to visit.

This Hoi On Cafe is located in Sheung Wan, closed to the north west corner of Hong Kong Island. Sheung Wan is a less famous place for the foods over there, I don't know why but I do like this reputation.

As you can see, Hoi On is a very traditional or historical design based. I think they want to keep this as long as they can. That's one of the features being mentioned.

Hoi On is on a very tough business hours base, from 7:30 to 16:30 in weekdays, close early at 1500 on Saturday only.

Which for a person, if I'm not working closed by, I don't think I can visit it again!

I arrived during the lunch time, and again, terribly crowded. Wish every table occupied, I have to wait for 15 mins in my 1 hour lunch.

3 colourful little posters, 1 about their history and 2 featured foods. Left one is titled " Can you spot out Hoi On here?"

Middle one is ALL-in-one with Fuku noodle in soup, Fuku noodle is a Hong Kong branded instant noodle, famous with its yummy thin noodle. Right is the braised(or swiss style, remember??)chicken wings with stirred noodles.

IMG_6822.JPG

Not only the usual lunch set, you can also order the pineapple bun with butter! An amazing bun you must try!
IMG_6825.JPG

Red bean in ice is another delightful sweets in tea restaurant if you a bean or dessert lover!

Swiss chicken wings with stirred noodles. I bet the chicken wings are juicy and rich in flavours!! The noodles look very nice as a mix partner too.!
IMG_6827.JPG

Iced lemon tea is really a daily pick in our living style. Carefully handled tea receipt with fresh lemon juice mix together in ice base, another amazing one!
IMG_6833.JPG

The bun, it's better to heat up a little bit so to melt down the fresh frozen butter.
IMG_6828.JPG

That's the point, melted butter all mixed with the bun, scrumptious creature!! Love IT!
IMG_6831.JPG

The butter is using the one from New Zealand, which is lovely and my favorite milk products type!
IMG_6836.JPG

Barbecue shredded pork come with the Fuku noodles, common food in our lunch set. It's really hard to find a restaurant offering Fuku noodles now due to its cost.

Finally, Iced milk-tea, less sweety and ice. This is may not be a very nice one but it's quite ideal cool down drink for a nice summer day. I would always recommend the people order the one with less sweety so you can have a better taste of the tea and milk!
