Foodie Tasteem#71 - Luk Lam Dessert

Hello Steemians, Hello Hong Kong!!

Today my quick sharing is my favorite Hong Kong style dessert shop, I go Luk Lam once a month, I recommend their Chinese style dessert based on my personal flavor. Normally the peak time for dessert is from 10:00 to 02:00 in Hong Kong, so we obviously arrived early today with not much customers here. :D

Since the location is Casueway bay, a modern and busy area in Hong Kong, so you can see the menu is in both Chinese and English. And, of course images attached.

One of my favorite is mixed fruit with grass jelly.I don't know why but I really like having fruits in dessert store, maybe the freshness? One of the thing you should know is the staff will ask whether you want milk or not. Taste? just a cool down for dinner as grass jelly has not much flavor.

Another order is mango mochi, (I'm a fan of mochi, remember?) a normal one. The flavor of mango isn't very rich but acceptable, the mochi is always chewy and lovely. Wondering, are they come from the same supplier in Hong Kong? LOL
Another ordering skill for dessert in Hong Kong is, they will ask "Do you want mango juice along?"
So milk and mango juice are options for the side.

Fortunately, check out by 21:00 will have a 15% discount OFF, or a big mochi for gift. We took the discount offer and it's just HK$60(US$7.6)!! so this is a CHEAP n FABULOUS pick. :D
