Hello Steemians, Hello Hong Kong!!
Is you favorite dessert including ice-cream? Are you a matcha lover? Is your city getting hot now? Or even you're a fan of Japanese product? Here we comes :D
Today my quick sharing is the matcha ice-cream in Japanese style :D:D:D
They feature their matcha soft serve with this BIG GREEN display soft serve, I bet you can spot this at the very first sight of the first shot. Or next time if you come over this harbour city shopping center, you definitely need to try that.!
This sweets shop also offer Japanese "dorayaki", which is sweet filled pancakes(or sandwiches) as you can see. The white is the original pancakes, and the green one I guess you know what's that. :D Right in the center of each pancakes, they fill it with red bean paste.
And!!! cream puffssssss, It looks really amazing when you see them in real. I never see the fresh one thought, but every time I see puffs or even smell the make them freshly, I want to get one(or two)
I better keep my sharing nice and short, so today time we ordered this "Deluxe soft cream", which contains MATCHA ice-cream on top, with rice balls(or mochi), matcha jelly and the Hokkaido Tokachi red bean paste. Everything is matcha and rich in matcha flavour.
The ice-cream is so smooth and made with the milk products from Hokkaido. The temperature is just cold enough to keep the ice-cream without malting. :D
You can see the red bean paste is aside, not too sweet and matching the matcha flavour. On the bottom, you can see that little white thing is the RICE ball, chewy and lovely :D. Right next to it that a little dark green is another great thing called jelly.
YUM YUM YUM!!! I can taste the milky from this little rice ball, but it's bland and so mix it with the matcha ice cream will be very nice!!
End of March and Beginning of April is a period about sakura(flower). Everything now in Hong Kong is with sakura flavour, a mild tastle. So Cha Cha has its ice-cream mix with sakura too, sadly it's SOLD OUT today.
The ice-cream costs HK$50(US$6.2) for one, a deluxe price for a dessert but it's definitely worth it!! For a normal version, it's HK$38(US$4.8).
My partner is really a fan of ice-cream plus a great fan of Japanese products. So How many criteria you fit?? Let me know!!
ENJOY!!
