Are you trying to eat less sweets or even trying to quit sugar altogether, while looking for something healthier to satisfy your cravings? Well, today I will show you how to make something sweet, healthy and that contains a lot of proteins - it is called Bird's milk.
To start with, you will need the following ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 L of milk
- 7 teaspoons of stevia (or more, depending on how sweet do you want it to be)
- vanilla extract
The next step is to separate the egg yolks from the whites and to put them aside.
In the meantime, you should put about the milk on a very slow boil
After that you take the whites and beat them with a mixer
While adding about 3 tablespoons of stevia
And you should end up with something like this:
The next step is to start boiling the egg whites on top of the milk which should be close to boiling by now
After each clump boils for about 3-4 minutes (while you make sure to flip it on both sides several times) you take it out and put it aside.
The yolks comes next, by adding about 4 teaspoons of stevia
and vanilla extract ( I used one small bottle):
You then mix up the yolks
and pour them into the warm milk

You continue to stir the mix until it gets thicker and after that you can add the egg whites again
The final step is to turn off the stove and put the whole thing somewhere cool.
After it cools it is ready to be served.
Bon appétit !
P.S. stevia is sweet, natural and doesn't have any calories so add as much as you feel necessary.
P.P.S I'm considering this a protein supplement :P and thus I am still on track with the "no sweets" challenge. Also this is a great choice if you want a sugar free dessert to keep you on track with the #sugarchallenge
