Just a little trivia; Mabuhay Rotonda(formerly known as Welcome Rotonda) is a towering monument that bounds Quezon City and Manila. It was designed and built by Arch. Luciano V. Aquino during Mayor Ponciano Bernardo's term in 1948 as Quezon City's mayor. It was built so that it would greet visitors to the newly established capital. During those times, Quezon city was the Capital of the Philippines. source

Nowadays, it just a roundabout located at the boundary of Manila and Quezon City. It's just a mere tower in the middle but the history it holds is much more precious that we know. Mabuhay Rotonda has been a place where protesters normallly show what they are fighting for.
