Summer Job Day 1 - Introduction and Briefing

Greetings everyone

So today, I'll be making updates twice a week for my summer's work at my business partner's company. I won't be naming my partner here in this post, however I can say he is an angel investor and manages 2 VCs. I met him and he's been mentoring me and eventually invested in one of my projects that have gone hiatus due to further pursuit in study.

I'm not much of a programmer, I'm more of a project manager, a coordinator, a hustler and an entrepreneur than I am any type of coder. But people like Vitalik Buterin, and the creation of this platform with @ned and @dantheman, I was inspired to start learning more languages and now I know Java and Python in an intermediate level. I haven't really applied them in real world applications, but I think I know enough of its syntax to start.

This summer, apart from the school's requirement for a science related summer internship program, I was also quite excited to work with my partner using my newly acquired skills in Python. I invited over a few of my friends, let's call them Boris, Maded, Bart and Jay Ai, and today we just had our first meeting for our briefing.

I met my partner's multi-national team, from the Philippines and from Thailand. Both coming from the IT Department. They were there to brief us what we needed to do in the span of 2 months, the requirements and the tools and extra knowledge we'll need to acquire to be able to accomplish our goals.

Due to the confidential nature of the project, I'll just say that what we'll be doing this summer consists of the following:

  1. an Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  2. Blockchain Technology

After the lengthy briefing of the project, we then got lunch at the nearest Bon Chon! Pretty good start for the Summer Job. I'm definitely enjoying this already, with a lot ahead of us this break, the summer will not disappoint, and I hope that neither will I!

Thank you! Please Upvote, Resteem and Follow!

I'll definitely be giving more info about what we're doing as we progress through this series of blogs about the summer job, and the products we'll be making will definitely have an early preview just for you Steemians! Thank you!

It would help if you upvote my post to fund my daily commute and food spending during the summer
I may be working but I'm still a student! Thank you very much guys!
