Phil's words seemed to have fallan on deaf ears as Jully gave no response to him. He could tell from the expression on her face that something was wrong. Phil offered her a drink, though she accepted, she didn't sip from it. Lost in her own world and totally detached from the happenings around her. This past few days had been a chaotic drama. She really wished she could talk to Martin.
Phil made a good attempt to cheer her up despite her awry mood, he pet her to bed. Phil took a shower, put on a sweatshirt and went out for a walk.
Jully had not really been asleep as she got up the instance Phil left.she searched every nook and cranny of her room for her old phonebook. She felt if she could find the phonebook, she could somehow contact Martin. In frustration, she began to throw out her clothes from the wardrobe making a mess of her room.
Phil couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong with Jully. He felt the disturbing need to return home to her and so he cut his walk short by taking a shorter path home.
Jully was still in search of her phonebook when Phil returned. Phil looked around at the mess the room had become. He finally grabbed her by the arm, sat her on their bed and smiled at her, "I love you Jully, but I need you to tell me what's wrong." Jully looked into his eyes and knew he really needed answers.
