Give up, just quit, because in this life, you can’t win. Yeah, you can try, but in the end you’re just gonna lose, big time, because the world is run by the Man. The Man, oh, you don’t know the Man. He’s everywhere. In the White House… down the hall… Ms. Mullins, she’s the Man. And the Man ruined the ozone, he’s burning down the Amazon, and he kidnapped Shamu and put her in a chlorine tank! And there used to be a way to stick it to the Man. It was called rock ‘n roll, but guess what, oh no, the Man ruined that, too, with a little thing called MTV! So don’t waste your time trying to make anything cool or pure or awesome ’cause the Man is just gonna call you a fat washed up loser and crush your soul. So do yourselves a favor and just GIVE UP!

Today there is a way to stick it to the man. It is called stick man. I've been working on sketches every day for a more than a week now. Little by little I will fit these sketches into my posts. As I get more comfortable with posting I will develop some regular characters and even run into a meaningful story with these guys. With these stick man we may still be able to stick it to the man.
I found the best way to post an image for now is to draw the image on paper and just scan the image onto my computer. If I get into it I may buy some drawing software and an electronic sketch pad. I don't think these are necessary until I draw a ton of stuff.
I used to draw up until 8th grade and then when I entered high school I stopped. I find the same thing happening to my oldest son Art John. He drew up to a point and then just stopped. I think he has become educated out of his creativity and drive. I tried telling him and even bribing him to get him to draw again but I gave up and I think this will work.
Instead I bought my own sketch book and just went wild. I was hoping that John would pick up and start following me, but instead his eight year old brother started to follow my drawing. He kind of ruined my sketch book with graffiti and scribbling and some bad words in Korean, but he made it funny. My youngest has a hard time with reading and math but he filled my sketch book with creations. I will share one here:
This kind of collaboration is better left as is. Mostly he writes stuff to make his mom upset. He thinks this is funny. Well I kind of do too. I will give you some help understanding this picture. I was trying to draw a picture of my son drawing a picture of his mom. When my son got a hold of the picture he drew his mom in the background saying something like, "You horrid creature!" Then he answered her saying, "Stop mom. I'm busy." He is eight years old and thinks his mom is "The Man". She is actually pretty cool. He just doesn't like to do homework.
My final word for sticking it to the man is Clean Fuels. Growing up I could only dream of the day that a car fills up like this, but it is happening. I really don't get why people who live in Seoul buy Range Rover Discovery vehicles or other petroleum guzzling polluting SUVs. We each have a choice but the reality is pollution is not gonna get better until we make the right choices. If not then we will all be buying a lot of fine dust masks.
I want to end with an MTV video but I am not. You can find one yourself if you want. Growing up we had no TV so my brother and I would sneak off to his friend's house to watch the Beastie Boys and Twisted Sister in 1984. I don't need to corrupt another generation.
You gotta fight for your right to post here!!
Good news. I am back at my job for another year.
All the contract stuff is finished.
But I don't consider myself working for the Man.
I am here for the entire gig.
Oh and it's getting close to Christmas. I nominate @moderndayhippie and @roundbeargames to post something funny for @comedyopenmic.
Have a great weekend,
Love,
