Huge apologies for publishing this financial statement just now. It's eight days until the Steem Summit marks its first month anniversary. I got to finally sit down and share this final Steem Summit Financial Statement with all of you, especially to the sponsors.
Let's cut to the chase and get right to the breakdown, shall we?
This financial statement is divided into three parts: the first part details the paper money transactions that the organizers have made, the second part shows the SBD transactions and the third shows the supporting documents that back the numbers up. Feel free to contest any of the items that are laid out here - this is a free blockchain after all.
A. Paper Money Transactions
Incoming Cash Flow
The amount that the organizers have cashed out were mainly from the sponsors: @donkeypong, @kryptonia, @maefe30 and from your upvotes. The organizers made four cash withdrawals from Cebuana Lhuillier and one from Palawan Express. (Assume: 1 SBD = 3 USD = Php 150)

Thus, the organizers have spent a total of Php 63,418.50, that leaves us with Php 94.50 in the Steem Summit fund.
B. SBD TRANSACTIONS
Incoming SBD Flow
Apart from @donkeypong's generosity, @surpassinggoogle and all those who shared their upvotes on the Steem Summit's promotional posts were the source of this rewards pool.
Outgoing SBD Flow
The amount that we transferred were given to the competition winners, program performances and the working committee. These are further broken down below:
Competition Winners
Poetry Winners
The poetry competition is divided into two subcategories. Therefore, there are two sets of three winners for this category. Each subcategory has a prize pool of 10 SBD.
Art Submission Winners
The art competition was allotted 11 SBD, instead of 10 SBD, because two of the runners-up had a tie.
Photography Winners
The photography competition is divided into two subcategories. Therefore, there are two sets of three winners for this category. Each subcategory has a prize pool of 10 SBD.
Travel Post Winners
This category also has a prize pool worth 10 SBD.
The total amount allocated to the competition winners is 61 SBD.
Program Performance
The organizers wanted to incentivize the performance of the Steemians, therefore, SBD rewards were given to the Steem Summit performers.
The total amount allocated to the program performances is 25 SBD.
Working Committee
The working committee made sure that the event went through smoothly and that the guests would be properly situated during the event. SBD rewards were given as a way of saying thanks for their services and time.
The total amount allocated to the working committee is 23.666 SBD.
