Good evening ladies and gents! I just wanted to make a quick post to help show the progress of our community voting bot, @silvergoldbotty . The idea of this bot is the help build the members of the community, both in exposure on the platform and (as is everything) in the monetary value of each of members account's.
General progress and a brief look into the next few weeks:
So, let me start by saying that this bot is a great idea for the reasons mentioned above, among others. With our community growing, thus more upvotes used each day, the users running the bot (sorry I am spacing out on their @ , but will edit after I post and figure it out) have been adjusting the % of upvote each member will receive to be able to keep the bot at a constant vote and maintain a similar vote to each post without constantly adjusting it. Donation Week. Let's get some funds headed to our girl @silvergoldbotty !!!
So, as of 22 hours ago, I believe it was @raybrockman that told me we have $45 SBD from 3 donations this far. I've been super interested in getting a Steemit logo decal for my car, which Ray had made in 3 different sizes and has been selling (literally at cost to him mind you). Well yesterday he posted about offering a decal and an upvote from himself for anyone making a donation to the bot, which will be used to lease Steem Power from Minnow Booster, thus further increasing the value of each upvote given from the bot.
With an opportunity like this popping up, I couldn't wait til Friday or Saturday when I normally buy some crypto currency, I jumped at the opportunity when I was done work for the day. Now I'm hoping I was 1 of the first 4 to give donations but I haven't received confirmation on that yet. Either way I feel good about the donation and knowing that even my little 10 Steem, which is actually around 5% of my account value as a minnow, will be put to good use and I will be able to benefit from the donation too! It's a really cool feeling.
