Woohoo, Chiwoohoo! I have just recieved my new 2018 South Korea Chiwoo Cheonwang coin from Komsco mint which is fast becoming a great coin producer and the Chiwoos are stunning collector pieces. The first one depicting old Chiwoo stood around looking menacingly overdressed i had to import from Korea and paid way too much to buy it but they are now selling for nearly double what i paid so im quite happy i picked it up now.
The 2018 coin is the 3rd in the series and shows a menacing Chiwoo looking all stabby charging on horseback at someone having an off coin bowel movement of utter terror as the happy Chiwoo tears his enemies a new one. The sword looks awesome and i love the toninig on the edge of the blade, it looks sharp. Chiwoos face is also looking menacing, he has an amazing grimace that would terrify any foe.
I do like the face value of 1 Clay and i imagine it being a claim on a piece of land in the old Feudal East
The series is now starting to take shape now there are 3 coins, the first coin had a lower mintage of 30,000 and the 2017 and 2018 have a total mintage of 50,000 and i just cant wait till the next one in 2019, this series will continue going from strength to strength with each subsequent release and is slowly building up to a gorgeous set of coins, all i need now is a custom box, maybe with a metalic shield on the lid.
