#mypictureday as portraitcontest Girl on Red

Greating Steemians.

Today I would like to share about #mypictureday by @timsaid.

Finally I am back again, yesterday I was busy with the shooting of a brand jacket and eyeglasses that will be on sale at one event. This shoot was held in front of the building of the Bank Indonesia. This shoot I used to rely on one technique strobist flash that I put on the umbrella reflectors. I use Flash is flash already has technology HSS or better known with High Speed Sync.

High Speed Sync flash technology is applied for yg Modern DSLR cameras in order for flash (speedlight) able to provide lighting on photos with speeds up to Native flash speed (faster 1/250). Before talking about "High Speed" synchronization, there are good her knowing about FLASH SYNCHRONIZATION (flash sync), i.e. the adjustment capabilities of flash/speedlight based from Native DSLR camera shutter speed, i.e. 1/200 or/1/250, where shutter speed it can natively we encounter? Try to enter the main menu of your camera (Nikon) shooting menu menu > > > flash > speed, then that speed is how we are going to use when using the flash.

How to work Flash Sync is, more or less are as follows; When the shutter button is pressed the speed window front (front curtain) inside the camera will open, then flash would light up, followed by the rear window (rear curtain) and a span of 1/250 "(native flash speed) and then it will shut down again. The ability of the flash standard is to provide a "flicker" 1/250 seconds, if the camera uses a speed greater than native shutter speed (1/250/), e.g. 1/1000, 1/2000, etc; then that will happen is the result of a photo with a black bar, that the line recording from curtain/door window sensors, a result of the incoming rays of flash late than camera shutter speed.

The lighting affect exposure of a photo is the important factor, resulting in abnormal circumstances, such as photographing a backlite scene, action or macro is often constrained subjects are too dark (under exposure) than the background, whereas the setting the camera needs a shutter speeds up to native flash speed (higher/faster than 1/250 "). Her example was my photo below, where I photographed the flower decoration. The photo below is without a flash with a speed of 1/6400, f/4, ISO200. I want the background still look the blue sky and blur (bokeh effect, narrow DOF), but it turns out that the subjects of his interest becomes dark, if I don't have flash and only use HSS flash standard is limited to being able to illuminate the subjects with the speed of 1/250, as a result I had to shrink the aperture aperture the lens I might be up to f/22 and will not produce the effect of bokeh.

All these photos are taken by Nikon D7000 Lens AFD 135mm F/2.0 Flash Godox AD200.
