Random Witness Introduction: @gtg, our Witness Nr. 1

According to @lukestokes more than 80% of all active Steemit Users, who own at least 50SP, have currently not voted for any Witness at all. While doing my research on the topic and looking for some candidates to vote on, I got the idea to introduce random Witnesses from time to time in order to encourage some of you to leave your votes for them.

Therefore I´d like to introduce you to @gtg today, who is currently our Witness Nr. 1 in the list with an impressive number of only 26 missed blocks in total and an Approval of more than 72.000 MV by the Steemit Community. In case you don´t know what those numbers are about, be assured, that they primarily confirm that he´s doing a great job :)

@gtg or Gandalf, like he´s called and saved within his mom´s phone, joined Steemit in June 2016 and basically became a Witness right away under the watch of his faithful cat Nyunya. Back then he didn´t even dream of getting into the Top 20 but rather saw himself as an appropriate backup Witness. Well I guess it´s obvious that he must be doing an awesome job as he eventually got to the Top of the List.

He might not be the most active blogger among all witnesses but in case you´re reading through his block a bit, you get why he made it that far. He´s simply an IT wizard and knows how the Steem Blockchain works.

Just recently he published a Post in which he describes how he secured Assets of more than 12.000 $ after some Users disclosed their private keys through posting them in the Memo of a Transaction. He could have left them untouched but instead he changed the keys to save the mentioned funds from being stolen. That´s what I call a very honorable Witness deserving my vote and possibly yours as well!
