The Philippine Science High School and the Science Scholar
The Philippine Science High School is a high school system in the Philippines implemented to be able to support, guide and raise the future scientists and modern leaders of the country. I am part of this high school, in its main campus as a senior. As part of our holistic development, we are given many different facets for our skills and talents. One of these are the school's newspaper: The Science Scholar.

The Science Scholar
In the Philippines, the public school system is quite HORRIBLE to be completely frank. Management of funds are quite bad, and funds to begin with are small compared to the likeness of every other prestigious school in the country, despite the Philippine Science High School being top-tier high school, and the absolute best is expected of us all the time. The Science Scholar only gets to release a paper every quarter of the school-year, which pretty much doesn't get us updated at all. To remedy that, they made an online presence using the platform Medium, where they post more regular updates. You can visit their Medium page over here: The Science Scholar
The Plan
As an avid Steemian, one of my country's pioneers in cryptocurrency, a scholar and a student of the Philippine Science High School, I would like to propose to them a way to get many of the things they need and deserve. Using the Steemit platform (soon, a custom platform I am making) these dedicated journalists can achieve and procure the following needs of the paper:
- Funding for the paper
- Public Notice of School/Student Achievements
- Blogging Facet
- New Friends and Interaction
With your help, I can help pitch this idea to them, and at the same time develop a custom CMS that could possibly used for similar journalist/forum/discussion groups across the country.
