Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday:
3.Violent prayers with fasting
Call unto me and I will answer you and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knoweth not. And Jabez called unto the God of Israel, saying; oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me: And God granted him that which he requested.
Jeremiah 33:3, 1st Chronicles 4:10
KJV
Prayer with fasting is one way through which we invite the divine into our lives. Divine intervention is a product of human invitation.
There are issues that will never be resolved without fasting and prayers. Jesus said it plainly to His disciples after healing the lunatic boy in Matthew 17:21 saying:
Howbeit, this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting
KJV
Jabez was named a child of sorrow, but true violent prayers, he became more honourable than all is brethren. It is not just labour that gives a man platform, it is favour. Henceforth you will not labour in vain in Jesus name. Amen
4.Walk by Faith
By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believe not, when she had received the spies with peace.
Hebrew 11:31
KJV
Faith is what gives substance to your prayer, for prayer without faith is noise making. It takes faith to do exploits. Faith is taking corresponding steps to the prayers you have made. Step out on what you believe God for in your life today and then you will see the intervention of heaven on your behalf.
5.Diligence
Seest thou a man diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings: he shall not stand before meaning men.
Proverbs 22:29
KJV
Hardwork work is the cure for hard life. Until you work hard, things may remain hard for you. Praying without working is like trying to start a car without an engine. If you are not diligent, you cannot be distinct.
The only way things can work out for you is by consistently working at it. Until you work with it, it won't work.
Be diligent.
