2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
As believers, we are examples of total restoration, How we were in a state before and how that changed into what was meant to happen before.
Ravaged and abandoned in the state of death, separated from God but not extinct.
Colossians 2:13 NLT
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.
Ephesians 2:1 NLT
Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins.
Just because of this state that we found ourselves because of the first man disobedience, we were taken far away from God's plan for man, God's desire for man.
Ephesians 1:5 NLT
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
Ephesians 1:10-11 NLT
[10] And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ-everything in heaven and on earth.
But through Christ, there's a total restoration to God's plan and we were able to partake from his life.
He has worked out his plan perfectly through Jesus Christ and we have been restored totally.
[11] Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan
As a result of this, we have moved from death to life totally.
Ephesians 2:5 NLT
that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)
From darkness to light totally.
Ephesians 5:8 NLT
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
All this was wrought by God and not us.
2 Corinthians 5:18 NLT
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.…..
Glory to God for total restoration.
We walk in it and rejoice.
Romans 5:11 NLT
So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
Why?
Romans 5:10 NLT
For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.
Glory to God.
