I had been sick the whole week and finally better the last couple of days.. But I wanted to share to you a testimony of two men, Keith and BJ, they were from the Recovery Group of Southern West Virginia (RGSWV). They testified of how their lives had changed since they started at RGSWV..

This is Keith, the one who is standing behind the pulpit. On February 27, 2018 he will be 1 year clean. He had been a heroine addict and throwing his life away until one day, he overdose from heroine and was declared dead by the doctor. His family, believing it wasn't the end for him gathered and prayed around the hospital bed where he laid with no sign of life. They prayed fervently to God and after 22 mins., his vitals were back and from then on Keith's life was never the same..
This is BJ. He had been addicted to pain pills, narcotics before recovery. His relationship with his family was broken, they tried to help him but he had been in a same cycle of addiction.. He attended the recovery group last year and already graduated from RGSWV. Now he testified of being clean and having a job inspite of the economy of WV. Bj also has connected back to his family, especially his mom. He gives all glory to God and is grateful to RGSWV.
These people may have failed in their past, but they always have hope regardless as long as they have breath in their lungs.. They were willing to change their lives, and the Recovery Group was there for them. I have high respects for Joey and Danielle McComas, the people who mentors this group.
One thing I learned from this group is to NEVER GIVE UP on people. Do you think we can create a much better world if we help each other? But not only that, to help people up and not tear them down.. We'll NEVER GIVE UP on each other. GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET.

I'll end this blog with a lyrics from one of my favorite song.
IT'S NOT OVER YET (For King and Country)
And life is a race we run
So run till the race is won
Don't you ever give up (here we are)
Oh no never give up (here we are)
And oh, to everyone who's hit their limit
It's not over yet
And even when you think you're finished
It's not over yet
Keep on fighting
Out of the dark
Into the light
It's not over
Hope is rising
Never give in
Never give up
It's not over
