Be in tune with God

Be in tune with God

Imagine what it would be like for a couple who had been separated for a while but are now united. Definitely, their love for each other will be rekindled and they will both place a better value on their marital union.

However, it does not mean that they will stop having moments of disagreement, but they will resolve every misunderstanding with maturity and as quick as possible. To summarize the scenario, they will be in tune with each other more than ever before.

The above illustration typifies the relationship between God and man. For a long time, sin had separated man from God. But God in His infinite mercy and abundant love, brought man back into fellowship with Him.

Now, He expects the continuity of this relationship between Himself and man. If you have been reconciled to God through repentance from sin, you are truly blessed. However, you must maintain a healthy relationship with Him.

The following tips will be useful in keeping you in tune with God. You need constant communion with God. You should show a humble, broken and contrite spirit before Him.

You must be sincere in serving Him. You must consecrate your life to Him; you need to study and meditate to His words and must be willing to do His will. You must be determined to glorify His name.

You must cultivate the habit of always praising Him; you must also be regular in fellowship with believers of like faith. You need a continuous proclamation of His undying to the dying world. You should show genuine love to people around you, especially the household of faith.

You must listen to the voice of the Spirit and be always sensitive to His leading. Beloved, when you are in tune with God. Like Moses, God will speak with you one on one and reveal His heart to you.

Like David, your heart will be in harmony with God, like Abraham, you will be a friend of God, like Elijah, God will honour and back your prayers and words with authority.

Like Jesus Christ, God will give a public testimonial of His ownership of your life. What are you waiting for? Start a relationship with God today and His blessings will ever flow freely into your life. Shalom and happy Sunday.

Thanks for taking your time to go through this.
