Since there are a lot of issues with Steem that every one has some opinion on, I thought I would ask the question:
What keeps you at Steem?
There is already a growing number of competitors out there often cited that offer alternative approaches to Steem. There are platforms claiming better and fairer distribution. There are people here who say it will never work, there are people who say it is almost guaranteed. There are users who speak loudly but act small, and others who act big but are largely silent. There are a myriad scams as well as many many projects developing. There is the coming SMTs, Hivemind, Resource Credit pools and Oracles but, uncertainty surrounds them. There are those among the world's richest and many among the world's poorest. Some live off Steem, others are collecting for a possible future. There are many ways, many people, many views, many opinions, many realities.
- Do the reasons change if you are a developer or a user?
- Does it matter if you earned Steem or bought in?
- Do current or past rewards change your opinion?
- Do your real world conditions affect your perspective?
- Does it matter if you are part of a community or not?
- Does where you live affect your views?
- Why be part of something when no one is forcing anyone to be here?
- If you don't know why you are here, why would you stay?
What I am hoping for is that a few people will potentially answer the core question and give their opinion on just Why they are here, posting, commenting or doing anything at all on Steem. If some share this and a wide enough selection of users take a little time to answer, it could make for a very interesting read to see opinions collected together as to why some people stay.
What keeps you at Steem?
Is it a hard or easy question for you to answer?
