To every Christian, faith is an expression of confidence in God or in another sense an action motivated by the word of God. In like manner, there is no child who would not have faith in either his father or mother. Every child through humility would believe anything his parents tell him irrespective of the circumstances surrounding such issue. A child who is to return back to school after holiday, promised by his parent to bring his school fees for him after his departure to school, though knew they had no on them, would still have faith in such parents that they would bring it.
The boy Isaac submitted himself to his father Abraham in hope of resurrection but believing and keeping faith in God that something good would come out of it. Jephtah, the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour who made a vow that if God would deliver the Ammonite into his hand, he would give unto God whatsoever comes out first of the door of his house as a burnt offering. After the war, it was her only daughter that came out first. What a paradox! However, Jephthah's only daughter submitted herself to her father (even though she has not get married in her life) out of humility and total submission to her father's instruction.
How many youths today submissive to their parents for something more wonderful and better than this?
