Authors & curators share for your contribution - explained clearly

Holly's Steem Info - Tips & Tricks and Apps & Tools - briefly explained

Let's be honest, of the newcomers, not a single one can see through how the payout system works in relation author to curator.

There page-long contributions are written which only confuse you more. In the last few days I have **concerned myself a little bit more with the topic ** Above all not only dealt with it but ** also started some experiments myself **

Basically, the whole reward system can be summed up in a few sentences. Anyway, what is of interest to the author.

Let's say You write a post then you can basically earn the following amounts. There are still some further very complicated formulas but in general according to my current knowledge the payment is calculated as follows.

Basically, one should only know that the author always receives 75% of the income and the curator(s) 25%. Curators are basically the people who add an upvote to your post or comment on it**

Period after you have published your contribution you get from the 25% curator's share:

  • 1 to 3 minutes - you get 100 % of the curator's share as author
  • 3 to 15 minutes - you get 90 % of the curator's share as author
  • 15-27 minutes - you get 50% of the curator's share as author
  • 27-30 minutes - you get 10% of the curator's share as author
  • After 30 minutes the 25% go completely to the curators and you as author don't get a share of it anymore.

**Only these few rules are actually of interest to you as an author. **

How the shares are finally distributed among the curators **is not really important for you as an author ** The distribution to the curators is then already ** quite complicated *** Exactly calculated when who with what sum and with how much Steem Power **has left his upvot ***

The same should actually apply, if someone leaves a comment and it is rewarded with an **upvote ** If the contribution is not 3 minutes old and you or someone else rewards the comment with an upvot **the full sum for it would have to go again to the author of the contribution ***.

But I'm not sure and I'm happy to learn the hard way. I'm just testing it myself and I'll know in 7 days.
