The Worst Teammates In The NBA (Carmelo Anthony, John Wall, & Hassan Whiteside)

When it comes to locker room headaches John Wall, Carmelo Anthony, & Hassan Whiteside lead the list. All three have been eliminated, and their exits interviews prove why they are hard teammates to like.

*John Wall blasted management, lack of role players, and basically everyone except himself after losing to the Raptors. Heres the quote

"if I am doing my part, the other 14 guys have to do their part of getting better every year, just being true to the team. I think probably we have a lot of times guys don't understand their role and respect their role ... you can't keep going up and down every year, all year, and that is what we have been dealing with since I have been here."

John Wall you missed half the season and the ball movement was better when you weren’t around. You cannot miss half the season, have the team play better when your not there, and then after you come back and lose in the playoffs blast the organization….

*Now onto the worthless Carmelo Anthony. In his exit he says ”Yeah, I'm not sacrificing no bench role," Anthony said. "That's out of the question."

Dwayne Wade is a 3 time champion, Hall Of Fame Shoe In, and 10X the player Carmelo has ever been, and he took a step back this year to come off the bench. Learn some humility Melo, you aren’t good anymore. If NBA GM’s decided to throw all 250+ NBA Players into a pool, and say build a franchise, you wouldn’t even be in the top 50.

Anthony is owed $28 million on the final year of his contract, which he will obviously opt in too. Spoiler Alert, drama between Melo & the Thunder is incoming….. Phil Jackson is smiling somewhere saying “I told you so”.

Even though all 3 of these guys are horrible teammates, at least John Wall gives 100% effort when he’s on the court, Melo does every once in a while,….*Hassan Whiteside on the other hand, never gives effort when he is actually playing. His facial expressions during the game annoy me, he is the opposite of engaged.

Off the court, he was snap chatting Heat players cleaning out there lockers less than 48 hours after elimination and complainining about his playing time.

I don’t like how Pat Riley bailed him out in the exit interview. He said Hassan was out of shape because of all the injuries he sustained this year, and then Joel Embiid trolled him and replied to an instagram post saying “Ima let you finish but I missed a month and still dominated you”

I have a feeling Pat Riley is attempting to plant a seed in another teams head (maybe the Bucks or Suns) that he has value, because Hassan Whiteside has to be off-loaded this summer. I refuse to believe Pat Riley a.k.a the God father is ok with the miserable performance Hassan provided this year and his overall attitude.
