Ellesse Brand History
To begin with, I want to say that I myself am a big fan of this brand and I myself carry things from Ellesse!
Founded in 1959, the Ellesse brand is the offspring of the progressive Italian fashion designer Leonardo Servadio from Perugia, Italy. The name came from the founder's initials "L" and "S". Styling the logo of the brand is a combination of two elements - half the tennis ball and the point of the ski. It was skiing that was the main direction at the beginning of the company's activity.
In the 1980s, British representatives of the trend of street lovers learned a lot from the style of Ellesse, which along with the rapidly growing popularity of the brand became an integral part of the social life known today as 80's Casuals. Active football fans and street rebels, fans of conservative sports and just fans of practical clothing - Ellesse united them all. In addition, the company has rightly felt the trend, having carried out its headquarters in 1994 to the foggy Albion, thereby linking itself even more firmly to British culture.
