Cleaning up my City & Buying Splinterlands cards with the deposit $ Part 2 - July 2023

Hi everyone! something else to post about today, I live in The Netherlands, and like most country's we have a deposit system for bottles for years already, this has been expanded to smaller bottles and cans this year to prevent people leaving them outside.
I think it's a great plan and will help to prevent litter in the streets and nature, most people will now take the bottles and cans with them or others (like me) will pick them up when we see them, my kids started doing this, and I thought... when they're not around why wouldn't I do it myself, keep track of how much I find every month and buy cards as investment for the future from my favorite game, Splinterlands with!

It's not that I go scouring in trashcans or something like that 😄 I'll just pay a little extra attention in my daily life and during my Move2Earn walks, playing Genopets and @actifit activity tracker. In my country the deposit is €0.15 for smaller bottles and cans and €0.25 for 1.5 liter bottles and up. I think it's a fun way to spend the money I get with the deposits, and while it's only a few cents every month, it's a win-win activity like this.

Update July 2023

Because I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, I have to make this post 5 days early, I normally do this around the 20th.
On my first try, I didn't knew if this post would be appreciated or not, but I thought it would be a nice side job while I was walking anyway.
But wow! my post generated more income than the cans and bottles I found!!

My 'score' this month was:

To keep things simple, I'm not calculating the difference between the US Dollar and the Euro.

€2.05!! not bad! and I cleaned up the world a bit!

With this money I bought a total of 200BCX :

• 75 Pelacor Mercenaries
• 75 Pelacor Deceivers
• 50 Gargoya Lions
• 25 Pelacor Bandits

On top of that, since it's not only about the sport to 'find' money and expand my Splinterlands account (because I believe in the future of this game so I can one day sell these very cheap reward cards for more, so I can improve my own deck)
I'm also reinvesting the earnings from this blog in to cheap Chaos Legion cards with a maximum value of 2 cents so I can get some large numbers from this post.

I bought a total of 178 BCX:

• 33 Venari Knifers
• 39 Mycellic Morphoids
• 50 Sunkari Harvesters
• 54 Lava Spiders
• 2 Radiated Scorchers

wow!! a total of 378 BCX in less than one month, that's awesome 😃

BUT.. of course you guys want proof too, right 😆

Next month, my findings will be less because I'm abroad so I can't search in my neighbourhood, I'm not sure if I'm gonna find anything in France, but maybe I will and clean up there too 😊.
