Little League ruleset is sometimes tricky when in short of available cards. Pair it with weak magic would seem further limit good combinations for it.
In this scenario try going with monsters with thorns if available. It would help defend and inflict damage to melee monsters. And those with armor would also be defended from magic attacks.
