I previously posted the prices of Chaos Legion cards hours before the general sale and more than 24 hours after, and it's now time to review the price changes, roughly 33 days after.

TL;DR: Only two cards, excluding Doctor Blight, increased in price, by $0.01-0.02 and these are Chaos Agent and Scavo Firebolt. The rest had 5% up to 56.14% decrease in price. Many cards, however, were cheaper less than 24 hours before and 24 hours after General Sale started when comparing to their current prices. Prices were generated through @monstermarket; here's the Google Sheet link.

Note: The 'Difference' in the table refers to the difference in price between the pric e before the General Sale ('Pre GS') and 30 days after GS ('>30D'). In addition, four cards, Grum Flameblade, Iza the Fanged, Lira the Dark, and Spirit Hoarder aren't here as they weren't released Pre GS.

Findings:

The cards per rarity with the most significant decline in prices are Crypt Beetle (Common, from $0.11 to %0.05), Time Mage (Rare, from $0.44 to $0.22), Insidious Warlock (Epic, from $1.75 to $0.78), and Baakjira (Legendary, from $23.98 to $18).

When it comes to dollar savings per 1 BCX, you would have saved $13.03 for Quix the Devious (Legendary, from $41 to $27.972) and $11.98 for Baakjira if you have bought them today and not before the General Sale started.

Only two cards increased in price, albeit minimal, and they are Chaos Agent ($0.01 difference, currently priced at .118) and Scavo Firebolt ($0.02 difference, currently priced at 0.19).

Among the summoners, Quix the Devious had the steepest decline in price. It's followed by Tarsa (from $4.82 to $3.4), General Sloan (from $3.88 to $2.85), Thaddius Brood (from $4.14 to $3.069), Obsidian (from $4.99 to $3.9), and, lastly, Kelya Frendul (from $4.75 to $3.92). Only Quix the Devious would have provided more than $2 discount, $13.03 to be specific, if you buy today.

All Fiends decreased in price, now costing $5.9 up to $6.4, with Fungus Fiend (Earth) and Scorch Fiend (Fire) declining in price by more than 40%.

The infamous Zyvax Vuul remains the cheapest Legendary card, having a decline in price by 44.70% (from $7.09 to $3.92).

Doctor Blight, Quix the Devious, Queen Mycelia, and Baakjira , all Legendaries, maintained their positions as the most expensive Chaos Legion cards before the General Sale and >30 days after. Uriel the Purifier was the fifth most expensive pre GS but was replaced by Chaos Dragon >30 days after.

Grund is the most expensive Epic card from $4.93 to $4.6 (6.69% change), Cursed Windeku from $0.722 to $0.86 (16.05% change) for Rare monsters, and Goblin Psychic from $0.33 to $0.26 (21.21% change) for Common.

In comparison to their current prices, there were 54 out of 93 cards (58.06%) which were cheaper hours before the general sale, and 46 cards our of 93 cards (49.46%) 24 hours after. Baakjira and Uriel the Purifier were cheaper by $6.46 and $4.65, respectively, hours before the general sale while Baakjira, again, and Queen Mycelia were cheaper by $6 and $1.94, respectively, 24 hours after.

We're halfway through buying out all of Chaos Legion packs, and there are more packs circulating, according to Splintercards.

Will the CL cards remain affordable for a while until majority, if not all, packs are opened or purchased from the Shop? We'll see 6 months from the CL general sale!
