SOCIETAL STANDARD'S .... inciting pressure
It's no longer news of the moral decadence or recline in this present age and time. a thing of interest which affects all areas of our lives socially, relationally etcetera which the society has turned a blind eye on or even orchestrated so to say ..
Even as we ignore their presence, underlaying it within our subconscious mind, the effects can't be ignored.. It has always been a thing of thought for me and I've kept it that way ( as a thought) until it dawned on me one faithful day.
it came in rapid concessions, flooding the cervices of my thoughts, igniting a paradigm shift as I watched a scenario play out right in front of my very eyes ....an occurrence that propelled me to speak out .
There I was on that faithful day , just came back from school for the holidays.. sitting in the front porch of my house or rather my Grandma's house so to say . i saw a lady in a late 30s judging from her demeanor and physical nature, indirectly urging her young son ( a teen) as he does whatever every young male individual has started doing which is of no news.
Emphasis on the word INDIRECTLY as they wouldn't want it to seem as though they are the ones orchestrating their wards actions. so instead of stopping them, they let them do as they pls. this has become generally accepted undermining the vices, effects and consequences.
I tend to believe that all of these are due to way the society places value otherwise known as SOCIETAL STANDARD'S.. This so called standard has plagued homes, churches, educational institute even as well as relationships. eating at it inside out, like a rotten tomato on a basket of freshly plucked ones .
There are so many ways or means this affects our life,either christainly, socially, personally, Educationally and Relationship .
The big questions we should ask ourselves is WHERE did we get it wrong, WHY and HOW can we make amends?.
