In dentistry, the significance of being able to wear white shoes is that you have reached a higher level and now you would be able to do clinical cases that involves others. Yes, you read that right.. living people or in our term patients.
It was nerve racking but exciting at the same time. At first, we thought, "oh we'll be finished with this in no time.." Oh boy were we wrong. Haha.
It was and still is very hard and frustrating to be able to finish everything.. it is actually very drainig physically, mentally.. and financially. Fellow dentistry students, you know what I mean
But seeing the smiles and hearing the thank you's from our patients are very heart warming and gives us additional strength to finish this course.
And being surrounded by family and friends also helps a lot
So fellow dentistry students, or anyone who's going through a hard time.. keep the faith and keep fighting! Laban lang bes! Hehe
