Being introduced to an imaginary self makes it tough to discern what is real. Knowing, on the other hand, that the mind conscripts these positions makes it easier to know thoughts from the mind are not real. The ease in it though is tough to sense unless it's known for certain that there's definition between the mind, body and soul.
Mind, being that of thought space, is the most amiable of all considerations because it is with you right now where you are. Body, likewise being present, is feeling the instant effect of right now. Soul, being the substratum of existence itself, is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and already have been here part just suggests what will work best now.
I liken real self as a form, a mold, a shape in which awareness has a lens to sense self through. What can be made of this is tough to say for another. Purpose of the mind being perhaps to discern what has happened. Purpose of the soul, in this context, balance and purpose of the body is sensual awareness.
All of these parts combined make for a cacophony of doubtful considerations unless it's known that this is just a thought. You see it's the mind that casts doubt, says you know better and proves it with doubt. As Mooji says "The personalized mind is not in support of your freedom".
