Truth is often disappointing when your fairytails don't come true, it's something like to live in fantasy but that does not make any sense in real life, real life is what it is and we have to learn to live with it rather than making some delusions like religion did, because in the long run it causes more harm than good and stumps growth, religion also divides people and in my opinion it was just a tool for old rulers to keep the masses under control, an all seeing god could be a useful concept when you don't want people to steal and play fair, similarly they were feared with hell so that they follow whats considered to be good coz else their actions would cause them to suffering otherwise, be we don't need religion now, it is an outdated system of belief, we have advance so much in science now that we can find answers to the question that we always chalked up to god's will, we have laws of government to keep justice in a country, and the best thing about science is that it can accept its mistakes in theories and grow from it, it becomes more and more useful with time, meanwhile religion is just arrogant and does not want to change because it considers its methods to be "perfect" god's words without any proof thats why it needs "faith" for people to believe in such delusions without any proofs.
