Rabbits are monogastric. They are medium size hopping animals with long legs, long ears, and short tails.
Everyone can have a rabbit but before you do know their breeds.. I will be giving few breeds of rabbits here and how you can identify them each
*The chinchilla; it a gray-bodied animal and it can weigh up to 5kg at maturity. It is one of the best fur or pelt produces and also a meat producer.
*The New Zealand white; it is the most popular meat breed in use. It is a fur breed and can attain a mature weight 4.5kg in eight months.
*The California white; it is characterized by black markings on the ears, feet, tail, and nose. It mature ones weigh 3.5kg-4.5kg
*The New Zealand Red; This breed is bright red in color and weighs over 3kg
*The Giant Flemish; It is dark steel-grey in color, it can weigh over 5kg and it is the largest of all the breeds.
*Angora; This breed requires a lot of care and attention it is the only rabbit reared for it wool. It most common color is white. It has tuft of wool on it ears and feed.
