I think nature conservationists do not get nearly enough respect and recognition fir the job they do.
Without the environment kept in their natural state, a lot of thing's are going to go wrong. Just see the way the deserts are encroaching into arable lands, animals going into extinction.
These guys do their best to sensitize the public on the dangers of encouraging practices that depletes the natural environment.
Another one are the forest guards. These are people who are employed to prevent illegal felling of forest trees. These people are not respected and people sometimes look down on them because of the nature of the work. They even get killed by some of these desperate poachers. They should have more security.
Then comes teachers. This one is clearly evident. Without teachers, society would be full of wayward. Teachers instill knowledge as well as discipline into our kids and wards. They frame the minds of the young ones into wanting to be good citizens who have respect for the rule of law and who want to contribute their quota towards making their world better.
However, they rarely get recognised for the job they do and don't get paid nearly enough.
