Victor Oh's Novel Writing Career Begins... Again

Education-items-736484.jpg

My novel writing was put on hold for a year or 2. I've been away because I didn't have the fire to continue writing my novel until today.
We have decided to immigrate to Canada. This decision was made sometime this year, and We got an RCIC agency to assist us. Their recommendation was to get a student visa to go. So we decided that Bear would go to baking school and I would go to coding school. All of it would cost us CAD95k in total. That is a very hefty sum of money.

A few months later, Bear told me she didn't want to bake as a profession. The hard life is not something she wants to go through again, as she has done so in the past. So to pay CAD36k to take up school and then graduate without thinking of working in the industry will be a waste. So, we decided to find other visas to get us to Canada.
After much research, I have decided that we should go to Canada with a self-employed visa. It requires me to be part of cultural activities as a career. I identified authors and writers as my field. Thus, I have decided to revive my novel writing career at this very moment.

This is my Peakd blog, and I will write daily with short stories, novel writing notes, poetry and anything I deem suitable to make my writing career work.

It's going to be another adventure that I am embarking on again. I'm very excited as to what I am going to do in the months and years that are coming.

I will also post my daily notes and writings on my Medium blog.
You'll be seeing a lot of my stuff soon. Hope you'll find the time to read it.
Thank you.

Best,
Victor Oh
