General George Washington's autobiography:
- not born in February, his mother recorded today's date approximately four months after George's birth.
General George rode away from Continental Army command twice given he thought merchants, bankers would not logistically support him. The second time he rode away he was a two day's ride away when others at the convention caught up to him. History portrays General George vying for command and doesn't mention this part.
