After ignoring the second world currency for years, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange finally decided to launch a Euro-denominated Ehtereum Futures contract!
As they say, better late than never, right?
The launch of these new futures contracts builds on the strong growth and deep liquidity we have seen in our existing U.S. dollar-denominated Bitcoin and Ether futures contracts.”
The Crypto Derivatives Market is huge: it is estimated to have $174 billion in contracts was traded on different CEXes in the past 24h.
CME Group also announced it will be launching options on Ethereum futures on September 12 (just after the merge!)
