More power-ups are good because they help to grow our stake. A bigger stake means we have more power to support content creators and also earn more curation rewards. This curation reward is one of the best ways to earn passive income on this platform. The first day of the month is celebrated every month as Hive Power Up Day (HPUD). I'm not very much regular on the power up but I try to do it whenever it is possible. It is because most of my articles are published with 100 percent power up so I hardly earn anything in liquid. Liquid means I do not get the tokens that I can immediately transfer or trade in the market and such tokens are called liquid.
I get author rewards mostly in the form of HP so I don't need to power it up manually. It's been many months and I have been doing this way because I think that the current price is good for building a bigger stack. Of course, I can't have so much that makes me whale overnight but whatever I have is good enough for me. I have more than 26,000 HP in my wallet and it is the result of my journey and consistency on this fantastic platform called Hive. More power up is like more power addition to the wallet and I am doing my bit to support the HPUD and also to my staking of the hive.
Current HP Balance
This is my current balance and I have also dedicated some part of it to some projects which is getting me good rewards. This balance might not be a big amount for many but it is a very big amount for me because I have given it five years to see where I am now. I don't know where it will be in the next few years but I'm going to try my best and stay focused and consistent also to achieve bigger milestones in the future.
Powered Up Hive
I have powered up 132 hives today and after this now I have 27k hive power. It's a great amount I would say and now I'm much closer to reaching 30,000 HP.
I wanted to raise 30,000 HP by the end of this year. We are left with three months for this year and I don't know if I will be able to add 1000HP every month to achieve this goal. It sounds difficult but I am happy and excited if I can do this let's see how it happens but I am going to try my best to see how far I can go.
I have done my participation for today and now as always, I will continue to post with 100% power up. I find this option very useful and helpful because I do not need to do anything manually and whatever reward I receive is added as HP to my wallet. It's a journey I think because I have been trying to spend some time and grow my account. I don't think anybody can become rich overnight but with consistent efforts, we can expect some decent outcome and for that long-term mindset is also required.
