Sliding Down The Rainbow And Conquering The Extremes

What if I can finally fulfill my wish to slide down the rainbow and conquer the extremes? That one thing I always adore when I see it rarely in the sky.

We went to the Dahilayan Forest Park or the Little Baguio of Mindanao at Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, last Saturday.

It was an unplanned trip and the weather was gloomy. We always prefer to be in places with cold temperatures and cozy atmospheres.

From my home, we got there after more than an hour. When I reached the place, the staff stamped my hand with the Dahilayan Forest Park logo.

As I walked around the spot snapping pictures of the atmosphere both outside and inside. Given the proximity of the pine trees and the chilly temperature, it appeared to me that I was in Baguio despite being modern with a hint of a woody atmosphere.

Upon entering, I saw a statue of a tribal man and felt like having a snap with it so I got my hand closer to its huge gigantic hand.

As I look at it, it is like a statue of a tribal leader with great aspirations in life as it looks above and beyond the horizon.

I enjoyed all the beautiful tribal structures near the entrance so I took the opportunity to take a snap of everything I saw.

Meanwhile, I saw a huge statue of awesome designs I am not familiar with but they all looked like awesome creatures piled up creating spooky yet awesome creations.

I was a bit curious about what I have seen so I took a closer snap of the four horizontal structures with big eyes, huge noses, and large mouths.

And then I saw a structure of a tribal leader with his dogs inside the tent. The colors of the tent signify the fantastic tribes of Bukidnon. Additionally, I observed individuals who attempted the Drop Zone.

I took time and took numerous portrait photos of myself while spending the entire afternoon admiring the place and the pine trees.

Afterward, I was mesmerized by the beautiful portrait of the famous Dahilayan Forest Park used for portraits among friends, lovers, and families.

Unfortunately, I was not able to take a selfie with it since no one could take a snap for me as I was only walking alone when my companions were also exploring the other sides, so I just took a snap of the view but I promised myself to be back here once more to take a selfie on the main spot.

Dahilayan's pine trees have beautiful groupings and are the ideal location for a photo shoot with all the designs and beautiful structures.

I then took a selfie of a huge elephant statue and it made me remember Thailand. How I wish I could visit it one day and be with a real elephant.

Walking a few meters away from the beautiful statues and structures, I saw the beautiful rainbow slides.

I so adore it when I was still a child, and even now, just by its combination of hues, it represents hope, joy, and a new beginning.

It is not a true rainbow, but it is as colorful and entertaining as one. It is a long slide that is designed to resemble the well-liked rainbow slides that are popping up all over the place.

I once heard about it when the Dahilayan Forest Park opened a new attraction from my colleagues as I saw they were uploading memories about it on their social media accounts but I was not enticed to try it because of my fears of extreme rides.

And then I saw a woman and an old woman sliding down the rainbow. It looked like they were so happy sliding down below.

Regardless of how frequently I visit Dahilayan Forest Park, I have never been able to ride the rainbow slide due to my fears of extreme rides.

Indeed Dahilayan Forest Park, a well-known tourist destination for the entire family and people of all ages provided a wide range of additional entertaining activities.

After seeing happy faces sliding down the rainbow, I was motivated and inspired to slide down and conquer my fears.

I went to the Rainbow slide booth and took a ticket. I was given the ticket but it is good for two rounds.

So, after my first round, I was given another ticket by the staff. Honestly, my heart was beating so fast before I was seated. the tire-like circular gear.

While waiting for my turn, I was just waiting on the sides with big smiles and full of fear.

The moment I placed on myself the tire-like structure on, I was instructed by the staff to remove my hair accessories and give them to them.

I sat down the tire in a most comfortable position while holding tightly on the side handles and legs up. And the adventure finally began.

I slide down the rough multicolored plastic mat after riding this tire-like circular with handles on the sides.

When I experienced the slopes and bumps, I have not helped myself but laughed out and shouted my heart since this is undoubtedly one of my memorable experiences as a thrill-seeker and addicted to the high.

The steep slope and several bumps ahead made the trip down more exhilarating.

I had a wonderful weekend and I felt very happy after I slides down the rainbow and conquered my fears.
