Splinterlands | Pelacor Arbalest’s double attack is very deadly

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your lives and enjoying the day with your family and friends. If you are a splinterlands player like me then I guess you are all focused on the ongoing ranked season and playing on a daily basis and earning SPS and Glint points. Only 11 days remain for this current tanked season to end and I hope you all have set your goals for this season and working on it with full power. However, for me, I have decided to pause my playing for a while and wait for the market to recover. I am also facing some emergency in my life, so I am selling some of my new cards and will be renting the remaining cards and my whole SPS to generate a passive income, not to mention I am also about to turn on my land again by taking cards and dec into it which I will be doing very soon. It's been a long time since I played the splinterlands and I was thinking of taking a rest for some time and finally took the big decision yesterday. But well, I am not quitting splinterlands because it has become a part of me, but with what’s happening lately with the economy I am really concerned and hope it recovers and gets back its glory soon.

Now, let us now come to the main topic of this post as today, I am going to discuss an amazing strong flying archer that we often use in our lineups. As you have already seen in the thumbnails above, today we will be talking about Pelacor Arbalest. So without further ado, let us begin.

PELACOR ARBALEST

Pelacor Arbalest is a monster card in this game that belongs to the Chaos Legion card set and it is a rare type card that needs a total of 115 BCX of cards to be upgraded to max level. This card belongs to the Life element and it costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily use this card when playing medium to large mana limit matches. It is a range attack type card and also possesses double strike ability which is the best feature of this card. Let us now take a further look into this card's league wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 3 health and also gets the Double Strike ability since its initial level. With the help of double strike ability it can launch 2 attacks back to back on each round. So even at the bronze level, it will deal 2+2 damage in enemy cards which proves its attack power.

SILVER

At level 4, this card gets 2 ranged attack at an increased 3 speed with 4 health along with the Double Strike ability.

GOLD

When you upgrade this card to level 6, it receives 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 5 health and also gets a new ability called Flying. Now with the help of this new ability, this monster will evade more attacks coming from non-flying enemy monsters.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this card gets upgraded to its max level of 8, it possesses an increased 3 ranged attack at 3 speed with 5 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. As you can see, it can attack with 6 power at its final level which is just devastating comparing its mana cost. But because of its weak health and slow speed, you have to protect this card so that it stays alive for longer and keeps attacking.

BATTLE STAT

Well, this time I got a medium 30 mana limit match where 4 elements were available to choose from - Fire, Earth, Life and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Rise of the Commons, Silence Summoners and Noxious Fumes. For this match, I thought for some time and at last, I finally decided to choose Life cards. For my lineup, I chose the 3 mana cost rebellion summoner Prunda and at the front defense position of my lineup, I chose the Smith followed by Moxian Rebel, Albahoo Forester, Meriput Magician, Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith at the end position of my lineup.

When both of the battle lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the rebellion Brewmaster summoner and at his front, he selected the Pelacor Mercenary followed by Venari Marksrat, Mad Ogre, Fungus Flinger, Regal Peryton and Pyrewatch Devil at the end position of his lineup. Now, let’s see who wins this match below!

MATCH PERFORMANCE

As the match began, all the enemy monsters targeted my Smith and on the other hand, all of my monsters targeted his Mercenary. My Arbalest also launched 2 deadly 3+3 range attacks on the enemy Mercenary and wounded it down to 3 health while my own Smith was also having only 4 health. Later on the same round my forester and smith attacked and killed Down the wounded Mercenary together.

In the next round, the poison took 2 health from each of the monsters except my smith and then, my Mariput and Crystalsmith killed down the marksrat, the Ogre came to the front and got buffed up from the marksrat’s martyr ability. But still, my Arbalest attacked it heavily and wounded it down to 4 health, followed by my Forester and Smith and together they killed down the Ogre. In the third round, both the Flinger and Pyrewatch died due to the poison effect and were the only Monster left in the enemy’s lineup. As expected, I also took care of the last mobster remaining and hence I won this awesome match and won some SPS and Glint tokens.
