Have You Heard About Driftwood?: The Wonders Of Wood (ASEAN Hive Challenge)

I love gardening, and for me, a beautiful garden always consists of natural materials from the earth, such as stones and wood.

I particularly enjoy using wood for aesthetic purposes as it enhances the beauty of nature and makes everything look much nicer.

My favorite type of wood to use is driftwood. Driftwood is the old parts of trees that have been washed ashore or deposited in bodies of water by the action of waves, currents, or tides. They are weathered tree parts that look old yet beautiful due to their unique forms.

If you're a gardener, you might use driftwood to hang your orchids, as many orchid lovers do. If you're an aquarium enthusiast, you may have driftwood in your aquarium tank to create a more natural environment for your fish.

Since I don't have orchids, I usually use driftwood to design my garden. I have a lot of driftwood because I used to be an aquarium hobbyist as well.

Driftwood can be expensive in my country. If you buy it from a pet shop, a small piece of driftwood will cost you around $1-2.

The larger ones, standing 3-4 feet tall, can cost around $100.

Placing driftwood in your garden creates a more natural scene. What I appreciate most about driftwood is that even though it has been washed up, it remains tough. You can't just saw it in hal

f. While it is not water-resistant, water alone cannot cause it to rot. Perhaps the durability depends on the type of wood your driftwood is made of.

I hope you enjoyed my short post about wood and how I use it in my gardening.
