DIY | Clay Tom

I don't what's wrong with me, whenever i tries to make something that I'm so willing to make or something in which I'm putting my 100% ~ get destroyed or turns into a disaster...

Yesterday i took all my clay crafts with me for my friends, they all loved it and took all of them except my best friend, she was little late in class and when she enters the class there's no piece left for her so I have decided to make her something special and something she really loves.

So today i have decided to make tom because this is her favorite character but it turns into a great mess.

So let's move towards procedure... And after checking final results do tell me whether it is worthy to gift or i can make something else for her?

Procedure

I have started making this craft by molding clay in the shape of Tom's face which is little triangular from sides but it's head is kind of circular.

After that i have started making facial Features in the face and for that, i have added some extra clay for making eyes. And for making tongue i have used pink clay.

Next i have made ears of blue and red clay in a triangular shape and i have attached them to the head of the character. And also attached a circle of black clay for nose.

Next i have shaped clay is rectangular shape and then make it round from one side. Later i have attached head of the character with the body.

To complete body i have attached legs and arms to the simple rectangle i made before. Legs and arms arms can be made easily in cylindrical shape and after that you can attach them in whatever pose you likes.

Next i have attached small feet with the legs made out of black clay. For shaping the feet i have used clay knife.

In last i have made a pillow out of red clay and attached the head of the character with the clay pillow i have made with red clay.

Here's the final look of sleeping tomπŸ‘‡

That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon bye 😁
