DRESS HOW YOU WANT TO BE ADDRESSED: FIRST IMPRESSION MATTERS A LOT.

Personally, I'm always cautious of how I look. Because I believe that people in most cases address you just the way you look. Dressing well was never my thing from on set, but then, I'm really grateful for the sisters God gave to me. Because if not for the gift of my sisters in my life, I literally would have been the worst person in the field of knowing how to dress.

Because while I was younger, I literally had no sense of dressing because everything I put on then was always being picked by my mom❤️. So I literally had no idea what fashion was all about. But then, growing up to be a big boy who now has to pick what he wants for himself was quite challenging for me at some point.

I just want to put on something and go out to wherever I want to go too. No dress sense at all. I did used to be a person that just combined different kinds of colors of clothes and where. Not knowing they were color riots. It was that worst because my siblings were all away and I was the only one at home. So I never saw it as a big deal.

I never had the knowledge of matching wear, clothes to put on for outings, and clothes to put on when I'm home; I literally didn't have an idea of all of that till I traveled to spend my holidays with my siblings, and guess what guys? I literally received the mockery of my life that I will never forget so easily.

And left to me then, I was always seeing myself as a drip lord. I never really thought for once that I wasn't good at dressing because I wear what makes me happy without thinking of how I looked. As long as it makes me happy, I just feel I'm good to go. Without knowing that there was more to fashion.

Getting to the family house, I got educated by my siblings on how to dress, how to combine colors so I don't put on a different color combination, clothes I should put on for outings and clothes I should wear while indoors, etc. And that was how I learned how to dress in my little way, with the help of the internet too. Because left to me, if I wasn't being called to order, I would literally have kept up with that dress way and never would have seen it as anything serious.

I have literally been keeping to that standard ever since then. Because many people address you the way you're dressed. Because I remember very well this particular day that I felt most embarrassed. On this faithful day, I went out to collect a package ordered by some of my customers from the pack, and while I was heading to the pack, I came across my crush that way, who I madly loved so much then.

I was literally so pissed on this day because the driver told me he was close by waiting for me to come collect my package, and out of being in a haste, I just dressed anyhow to go collect my package with the mindset that I would be back in some minutes time since it wasn't far from my house.

But unfortunately for me, I got there and didn't meet the driver. And then I called him, and he was busy giving unreasonable reasons he couldn't wait for me, and I was looking rough on this day because I was like, It's close by, and it's not like I'm going to see my girlfriend or something.

So I had to go down to the pack to get it from him. While heading there, I literally came across this my crush that we've literally been chatting for a while now. And unfortunately for me, that was her first time seeing me physically. At that point, I felt like entering the floor.

Because I was so embarrassed of how she got to meet me for the first time. Because she was already feeling me to at some point in time. I literally knew after that time that the first impression really did matter a lot to her. Because she stated it while I was getting to know her then as a green flag for her. And because of that incident that day, we stopped talking like we used to, and all her feelings for me whipped off from that day.

Ever since that day, I literally don't care if I'm going to my backyard to get a single drop of water; I always try to look presentable. I might not be the most well-dressed person in the world, but in my little way, I always try to look good.

Describe your wardrobe fashion sense

I literally am a fan of trying out every kind of fashion dress. Even though people say anything goes well on me. But if you ask me very well what I love to wear the most, I will tell you for free that I love putting on more jeans and shirts (any kind of shirt).

And sometimes, I love to put on more joggers and armless tops. Because I literally love to dress simple in most cases. I really don't like putting on something that's going to stress me too much. I just like my clothes simple.

Wears that cannot be found in your wardrobe

You literally can't find single-lace attire in my wardrobe. Because I'm literally not a fan of it. Even though I love to see people who wear it sometimes, I'm literally not a fan of it.

Because I don't seem to understand why it makes me feel like an old man when I put it on. I literally just have that feeling of being old when I'm putting it on. So it's just not my thing, and I don't think I like it for anything left to me.

Except if I have an outing that I have no other choice or a wedding I have to put it on for, but left to me personally, I really don't like it for anything.

An old dress that's still a favorite

My cooperate dress is still one of my favorite old wear. I literally still love to wear it sometimes. But then, I literally can't still compare the love I have for jeans and shirts to the one I've got for Cooperate dresses. Even though they always look good and sharp on me.

But then, I just seem to go for the one that seems less stressful for me. I always consider it stressful to put on a cooperate dress most times. Because I'm literally used to casual dresses.

How often do you decide to dress up well?

I try to always dress well in most cases because I've literally been in several situations where I just dress the way I like and I just get an offer to do something.

And then, in most cases, there are always some jobs that come in on short notice where I can't go home to dress well to attend. And I literally don't have a choice but to go that way.

I really don't like that most times, so I always endeavor to dress well in my own way, so in case there's an emergency, I could easily just get away without needing to go home to redress.

Do you think your dressing plays a role in how you see yourself daily?

To me, it does play a big role on me. Because I'm always cautious of how people see me. You literally don't need to have all the money in the world to look good. Looking rough has never been an opinion for me from on set.

Because I believe in the saying that states that, dress the way you want to be addressed. I wouldn't want to be addressed wrongly, so I just try to look good in most cases. Even though many people see it like you've made it in most cases, just learn to do your thing.

Also learn to balance it in most cases. Because some people look richer than their helpers. Which sometimes chases one's help. But then as they say, who go help you no go stress you. Just do what makes you happy.

Look good and clean. Even with the little you've got, always endeavor to look alright. You literally don't have to look like what you're going through always. It's always a plus for you when you package yourself and look presentable. It always makes people approach you with respect without you asking for it.
