To my ever-friends from the HiveLearners community, my warmest greetings! I am very happy to be able to share my reflections with the community once again!
We have reached the month of June, which marks the halfway point of the year. Half of our projects should have been completed by now. But I don't think it happened quite like that, did it?
How was the first part of the journey?
Plans that failed
Certainly a tradition that spans various cultures, planning New Year's actions has its place here in Brazil, and I couldn't stay out of it. And I started the year with very specific plans regarding Hive and what I should do here.
First goal: Pursue the HiveBuzz Yearly Author badge
This goal was pursued with the intention of forcing my daily participation on Hive, through a publication every day. To obtain this badge you must have published every day of the year! Additionally, secondarily, I intended to obtain the Monthly Author badges, as well as the Power Up Month badge, the latter being that I only needed to set my posts to reward only in HivePower.
This was done until March 8th when I was trying to publish through my cell phone, on the liketu interface. Unfortunately, the interface crashed several times and the publication ended up being registered the next day, by a matter of seconds.
This made me visit the hells described by Dante Alighieri, and thus I experienced a free sample of depression.
It took me a long time to overcome the failure imposed on me by technology, and I only resumed posting consistently in April.
Second goal: Achieve the 5KHP goal by my 3rd Hive anniversary
Due to the failure of the first goal, the second goal was hindered. I spent a long time without posting, and this caused me to complete my third anniversary on Hive without reaching the 5KHP goal. In fact, I will reach this milestone today. So, unfortunately, a little far from the dream moment that should have been last month.

Third goal: Take an international trip
Living in a border region, I have already visited two countries besides Brazil: Paraguay and Argentina. But I would like to go beyond the mercantile region that establishes itself at the borders where I have been.
So I made a promise and managed to fulfill it by traveling to Buenos Aires where I spent a week getting to know the culture, cuisine, and having a lot of fun in cafes and historical buildings.
It was truly a great trip, and if I may give a spoiler, it will happen again soon.
Before you think it's a high cost, know that in Foz do Iguaçu (BR) you can cross the land border and go to the airport in Puerto Iguassu (AR), where airfares are very cheap. In the 2024 exchange rate, 4 passengers going to and from Buenos Aires cost less than a thousand reais. It's very cheap!

This trip has already made my year worthwhile as it was very special to walk through the historic streets and visit wonderful places. I took many photos and posted a lot, you can check it out in January 2024 on my blog.

I chose to take many walking tours, but the transportation system is also very efficient. I used the sube a lot, which is the subway, and also took some journeys by bus, taxi, and Uber. I just didn't take the train and boat. Although I did get on a warship, but it was a museum and was not available for navigation.
Argentinian Cuisine, the highlight is the meats!

Anyone thinking of going to Argentina should consider that the cuisine focuses on meats and has its own way of preparation and seasoning. You should take this into account if you want to visit this region.
So I can say it has been a wonderful year and the victories have reigned effectively as they have their value and bring us peace and mental health!

Aos meu sempre amigos da comunidade HiveLearners, minhas melhores saudações! Fico muito feliz em poder depositar minhas reflexões na comunidade mais uma vez!
Chegamos ao mês de junho, que é a metade do ano. Metade dos nossos projetos já deveriam ter sido realizados. Mas acho que não foi bem assim que aconteceu, não é?
Como foi essa primeira parte da caminhada?
Os planos que fracassaram
Certamente uma tradição que passa por diversas culturas, planejar ações de ano novo tem seu lugar aqui no Brasil e eu não poderia ficar de fora. E eu comecei o ano com planos muito específicos com relação à Hive e ao que eu deveria fazer aqui dentro.
Primera meta: Perseguir o selo HiveBuzz Yearly Author
Esse objetivo foi perseguido na intenção de forçar minha participação diária na Hive, através de uma publicação a cada dia. Para obter esse selo você deve ter publicado todos os dias do ano! Além disso, de forma secundária, eu pretendia obter nesta jornada os selos de Autor Mensal, e também Power Up Month, este último sendo que eu só precisaria configurar minha postagens para recompensa somente em HivePower.
Isso foi feito até o dia 08 de março quando eu estava tentando publicar através do celular, na interface liketu. Infelizmente a interfae travou várias vezes e a publicação acabou sendo registrada no dia seguinte, por questão de segundos.
Isso me fez visitar os infernos descritos por Dante Alighieri, e assim eu conheci uma amostra gratis da depressão.
Levei muito tempo para superar o fracasso imposto a mim pela tecnologia, e voltei a publicar de forma constante somente em abril.
Segunda meta: Atingir o objetivo de 5KHP até o meu aniversário de 3 anos Hive
Devido ao fracasso da primeira meta, a segunda meta ficou prejudicada. Passei muito tempo sem postar e isso fez com que eu eu completasse o terceiro aniversário na Hive sem atingir o gol de 5KHP. Na verdade vou atingir essa marca ainda hoje. Então, infelizmente, um pouco longe do momento sonhado que deveria ter sido no mês passado.

Terceira meta: Realizar uma viagem internacional
Por morar em uma região de fronteira terrestre, já visitei dois países além do Brasil: Paraguai e Argentina. Porém gostaria de conhecer para além da região mercantil que se estabelece nas fronteiras onde passei.
Dessa forma fiz uma promessa e consegui cumprir, viajando até Buenos Aires onde passei uma semana conhecendo a cultura, a culiária e me divertindo muito nas cafeterias e predios históricos.
Foi realmente uma ótima viagem, e se for possível dar spoiler, ela vai se repetir em breve.
Antes que você ache que é um custo elevado, fique sabendo que em Foz do Iguaçú (BR) você pode atravessar a fronteira terrestre e ir até o aeroporte em Puerto Iguassu (AR), onde as passagens aéreas são muito baratas. Na cotação de 2024, 4 passageiros indo e voltando à Buenos Aires sairam por menos de mil reais. É muito barato!

Eu optei por fazer muitos passeios caminhando, mas o sistema de transporte é muito eficiente também. Usei bastante o sube que é o metrô, e também fiz alguns trajetos de ônibus coletivo, taxi e uber. Só não andei de trem e barco. Apesar de que eu cheguei a entrar em uma embarcação de guerra, mas era um museo e não estava disponível para navegar.
Culinária Argentina, o ponto forte são as carnes!

Quem pensar em ir para Argentina deve pensar que a culinária é focada em carnes e tem seu jeito próprio de preparo e tempero. Você deve levar isso em consideração caso queira conhecer essa região.
Então eu posso dizer que tem sido um ano maravilhoso e que as vitórias reinaram de forma efetiva pois tem seu valor e nos trazem paz e saúde mental!
