Hello there, Cinnamon Cup Coffee community! Welcome to this post dedicated to our favorite drink and all the charm that surrounds the art of tasting a good coffee, from the design of the cup to the cozy atmosphere of a coffee shop. Today I want to share with you another one of those special places in Caracas and this one in particular stands out for its theme dedicated to cats. Let's get started!
We return to the center of Caracas, specifically to the main avenue that crosses the city from East to West. Here we decided to visit a place that several of my students had already recommended to me not only for its coffees and desserts that are already becoming famous on social networks, but because the place is part of an initiative dedicated to domestic cats. Thus, we decided to visit it to enjoy a cup of coffee run by these beautiful kitties.

The place is called K-fe En Taza and its story is as follows: it is a group of people dedicated to the care of domestic cats that are abandoned in the streets of the historic center of Caracas. Of course, the care, feeding, deworming and vaccination of these noble animals entails a significant cost, but it is there where, in a creative idea, they organized to set up a cat-themed cafe where part of the profits would go to the care of the cats they rescue from the streets.

A pleasant environment with 5-star service!
Once we entered the cafe, we noticed that the entire place has kittens that are no more than 1 year old as its main protagonists. The oldest of them all welcomed us and pointed out the products they have for sale, from plates and cutlery to cups with handmade decorations of kittens.

After such a pleasant welcome, we can contemplate the beautifully decorated spaces of the cafe, of course with cat themes, including a mural that has photos of all those cats that they have rescued and managed to find a home to adopt them. All this gives the place such a special aura that makes it a true experience.
The spaces in the café are set up so that the cats can walk around and play, they are completely free in the premises and you can even touch them and take photos of them.

This venture has only been open for a couple of weeks and has been an instant success, so much so that we had to wait a long time for one of the tables to become free before requesting service.
Enjoying a good coffee in excellent company
Once we had already gotten a table, this little friend visited us at our table while we were ordering: 1 vanilla latte, 1 mocaccino and 2 marble cakes. All the cats we saw were very affectionate, that reminds me of what the students who have a shelter for these little animals told me at the faculty where I work, and that is that they are very grateful to be rescued and they appreciate it quite a bit, that is why they integrate quite well into this environment.

The first to arrive were the latte and the mocaccino, they tasted good although the mocaccino was a little cold for my taste, my mother really enjoyed her vanilla latte, she loved the place and almost wanted to take one of the cats home 😅.
Then the two pieces of marble cake arrived and wow! Maybe we should have ordered just one piece of cake because one was enough, but when we tried them they were exquisite! In the end we each devoured our piece of cake without any regrets😆.

The atmosphere was so pleasant that we stayed until the end of the day and already the beginning of dusk, my rating for K-fe En Taza is 10/10 for the atmosphere, 7/10 for the mocaccino that although it tasted good was a little cold, 9/10 for the marble cake that was spectacular and 10/10 for the creative and noble way of helping these little animals. Sean bienvenidos a este post dedicado a nuestra bebida favorita y todo el encanto que rodea al arte de degustar un buen café, desde el diseño de la taza hasta el ambiente acogedor de una cafetería. Hoy quiero compartirles otro de esos sitios especiales de Caracas y este en particular destaca por su temática dedicada a los gatos. Comencemos!
Volvemos al centro de Caracas, específicamente a la avenida principal que atraviesa la ciudad de Este a Oeste. Aquí decidimos visitar un lugar que ya varios de mis estudiantes me habían recomendado no solo por su cafés y postres que ya se están haciendo famosos en las redes sociales, sino porque el sitio forma parte de una iniciativa dedicada a los gatos domésticos. Así, decidimos visitarlo para disfrutar de una taza de café atendida por estos hermosos mininos.

El lugar se llama K-fe En Taza y su historia es la siguiente, es una agrupación de personas dedicadas al cuidado de los gatos domésticos que están abandonados en las calles del centro histórico de Caracas. por supuesto, el cuidado, alimentación desparasitación y vacunación de estos nobles animales conlleva un costo importante, pero es alli donde en una creativa idea se organizaron para levantar una cafetería con temática de gatos donde parte de las ganancias fuera para el cuidado de los gatos que rescatan de las calles.

Un ambiente agradable con una atención de 5 estrellas!
Una vez entramos en la cafetería, apreciamos que todo el lugar tiene como a los principales protagonistas gatitos que no tienen más de 1 año de edad. El más antiguo de todos ellos nos dio la bienvenida y nos señaló los productos que tienen a la venta desde platos y cubiertos, hasta tazas con decoraciones artesanales de gatitos 😍.

Luego de tan agradable bienvenida, podemos contemplar los espacios bellamente decorados de la cafetería, por supuesto con temáticas de gatos, incluyendo un mural que tiene las fotos de todos aquellos gatos que han rescatado y logrado conseguir un hogar que los adopte. Todo esto le da un aura tan especial al lugar que lo convierte en una verdadera experiencia.
Los espacios de la cafetería están acondicionados para que los gatos puedan pasear y jugar, están completamente libre en el local, puedes incluso tocarlos y tomarles fotos.

Este emprendimiento tiene apenas un par de semanas desde que se abrió y ha tenido un éxito instantáneo, tanto que tuvimos que esperar un buen rato a que una de las mesas se desocupara para solicitar servicio.
Saboreando un buen café en excelente compañía
Una vez que ya habíamos conseguido mesa, nos visitó este pequeño amigo hasta nuestra mesa mientras pedíamos nuestra orden: 1 late de vainilla, 1 mocaccino y 2 tortas marmoleadas. Todos los gatos que vimos eran muy cariñosos, eso me recuerda lo que me dijeron en la facultad donde trabajo los estudiantes que tienen un refugio sobre estos animalitos, y es que son muy agradecidos al ser rescatados y lo aprecian bastante, es por eso que se integran bastante bien en este ambiente.

Lo primero en llegar fueron el late y el mocaccino, tenían un buen sabor aunque para mi el mocaccino estaba un poco frío, mi madre si disfrutó bastante su late de vainilla, le encantó el lugar casi quería llevarse uno de los gatos a casa 😅.
Posteriormente llegaron las dos piezas de torta marmoleada y wow! Quizás debimos pedir un solo trozo de torta porque era bastante con una sola, pero cuando las probamos estaban exquisitas! Al final nos devoramos cada uno nuestro trozo de torta sin ningún arrepentimiento 😆.

El ambiente era tan agradable, que nos quedamos hasta el ocaso del día y ya el comienzo del anochecer, mi calificaciones para K-fe En Taza es un 10/10 por el ambiente, 7/10 por el mocaccino que aunque sabía bien estaba un tanto frío, 9/10 para la torta marmoleada que estuvo espectacular y un 10/10 por la creativa y noble forma de ayudar a estos animalitos.
