Starfield Library In Suwon Korea

Hi! Hello! πŸ‘‹

How are you all? It has been a while since my last blog.
But as I have another vacation coming up, I wanted to catch up on my backlog and write off a couple of blog.

So earlier this year, I went to Korea for a few days for my birthday. I really only made plans for dinner on the actual of my birthday and nothing else for daytime. I already met a friend of mine at the inn we were staying, and she suggested we go the new Starfield Library in Suwon. I didn't really mind so that's where we went lol. As I did, you may have also seen some pictures of the famous Starfield library in Gangnam. I've never been there yet but in my next trip with other set of friends, we will be going there too. But for now, the library in Suwon is much better I think, but this might change later lol.

The library is inside the mall and spans from the 4th floor up the 7th floor. The view is stunning, it was like a small jungle of pillars filled with books. There is no entrance fee and you are free to chill around. There are some seats and desks within. My friend was working so I left her alone for a few hours while explored the place. I couldn't find a corner for english books, which was a shame, but I may have missed it if there ever was. Unlike the library in Gangnam where the books are not real from what I heard, the books in Suwon were real. I visited each floor and checked all angles I could take a photo from, and I must say the view from 6th floor and view when you look up are the best.

Please enjoy these photos I took lol.

7th floo. Taken with phone. This is the most decent photo I took without all the bars and poles in the way of the other hanging balls. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Since it's inside a mall, the library was surrounded with cafes and stores around. Lol what was I thinking when I decided to buy a small notebook and a pen and wrote what I felt then turning a year older while sipping a latte πŸ˜† I couldn't even open that notebook now to see what I wrote, it feels cringey 😬 But I think I might laugh it off if I read it later when I'm much more older.

Anyway, the 7th floor is lined up with restaurants and stalls. My friend and I got rice bowls and additional dumplings. Who would've though the dumplings were huge 😭🀣 We thought they were bite size, oh how wrong we were. Lesson learned, so always ask if you are not sure of the portion size. No wonder the lady in the counter was confused when we told here we were getting a plate each πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Spicy bulgogi with a few sides

The dumplings in question πŸ˜πŸ˜†

Also, let me add that this library was not crowded. We went on a weekday though so it's understandable but at least there weren't a lot of tourists. So I'd recommend this place if you ever want to go visit a library in Korea.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog.

Eating-Apple,
